Winchester pre-64 Model 70 Featherweight .30-06. Made in 1958, serial 425988 (2x: receiver & bolt) has a 22-inch barrel (hooded ramp front sight with brass-beaded blade, folding rear sight). Features include the “Low Comb” stock variation (straight comb, panel checkering with Mullered borders, sling loops, aluminum butt plate), hollow bolt knob and Leupold mounts (one-inch low rings). DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 7.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding and bolt face condition suggests little use. Metal finish exceeds 95 percent. Wood is approximately 95 percent with a few minor impressions and a repaired sliver and varnish lift at the forward edge of the bolt slot.
