Serial 31283 includes the original barrels (26-inch IC/M, 2.75-inch, large front and small middle bead) as well as a set made by Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company (30-inch, M/F, 2.75-inch, serialed to match). Features include ejectors, automatic tang safety and a select trigger. STOCK: Showcasing end-to-end figure, particulars include a beavertail forearm with bordered checkering panels, pistol grip with cap and a checkered butt. SECOND BUTT: Appearing to be the serialed original, it also has strong figure and a checkered butt. DIMENSIONS: As imaged, weight is 7.8 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.75 inches, drops are 1.35 and 2.0 inches, and cast on is approximately .25-inch. The second butt appears to measure 14.0 LOP and has approximately the same cast on as the primary. CONDITION: Both barrel sets are on face and ejectors work properly. With the longer barrels as imaged complete, metal finish crowds 95 percent and wood is a bit better. Bores are strong and bright. The original barrels have been refinished (matte). The right barrel has a small impression (eight inched from muzzle, 3 o’clock. A faint line appears in the bore. The original butt is at least 95 percent. A Negrini case is included.
