Winchester / CSMC Model 21 Grand American 12 gauge pair with two barrel sets, 26 & 30-inch, 3-inch, 14.4 LOP, cased, over 95 percent

Winchester / CSMC Model 21 Grand American 12 gauge consecutive pair, each with two barrel sets. Made in 2004 and consigned by the estate of the original owner, serials W38342 (Gun 1) and W38343 (Gun 2) are identical in every respect. Each has two barrel sets (30-inch fixed M/F & 26-inch fixed IC/M, vent ribs with ivory beads, ejectors, 3-inch chambers), an automatic safety, single select mechanical trigger and is stocked in AAA Fancy walnut (small beavertail forend with ebony accent, pistol grip butt with leather-covered recoil pad, fine wrap checkering accented with ribbons and fleurs). ENGRAVING: Each is dressed with full coverage scroll surrounding three gold field scenes (pheasant, grouse, dog) and gold accents (lab bust, gun number, model legend on cap). The scroll continues over the chambers, latches, levers, guards, tangs and screws. DIMENSIONS: Weight (Gun 1, 30-inch) is 8.0 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.4 inches, drops are 1.4 and 2.35 inches, and cast off is approximately .30-inch. CONDITIONS: All barrel sets are full on face, levers rest right, bores are bright and ejectors kick properly. Trigger pulls and safety engagements are smooth and positive. GUN 1 – Metal finish (with 30-inch barrels) is approximately 97 percent. Wood is approximately 95 percent with some rubbing and minor impressions on the butt and missing toe line initial shield. The 26-inch barrel’s metal finish is approximately 95 percent with one small freckle on the lower rib and trace thinning. Wood is over 95%, with a scratch (front left side). GUN 2 – Metal finish (with 30-inch barrels) is approximately 97 percent. Wood is approximately 95 percent, with one area of the beavertail that did not take finish properly and scattered impressions on the butt. The 26-inch barrel’s metal finish is approximately 97 percent, as is the wood. INCLUSIONS: Each shotgun has a locking leather trunk case with keys, oak/felt interior, maker’s label, snaps, oiler, two-piece rod/attachments and papers.
