Winchester Model 1886 .45-90. Made in 1887 and supported by a factory letter, serial 9964 has a 26-inch octagon barrel (.805-inch muzzle diameter, blade front sight). Features include a set trigger and fancy walnut stock (checkered, pistol grip with ebony inlay). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.0 inches. CONDITION: The bore is rough and darkened. Rifling remains good. The trigger’s safety notch and set do not work. Metal finish has thinned/browned. Crescent is proud and and there are two short/tiny hairlines at the lower tang screw. The price is firm and layaway is available. $11,500 plus shipping.
