Outstanding Winchester pre-64 Model 70 .375 H&H Magnum. Made in 1953, serial 255365 (matching bolt body) has a 25-inch barrel (tapers to .695-inch at the muzzle, integral stippled and hooded ramp with beaded blade, rear sight with two folding leafs), full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, steel floorplate/guard and a walnut stock with sling loops. CAPACITY: Five rounds (four plus one, extractor “snaps over” rounds dropped into the chamber). Feeding/extraction/ejection are positive. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.8 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore crowds pristine. Bolt face and extractor finishes suggest extremely low round count. Receiver finish suggests a scope was never mounted. Metal finish is at least 98 percent and wood finish is at least 97 percent, each with but minor suggestions of handling.
