Acquired by the consigning estate during 1966 at Abercrombie and Fitch in San Fransisco, serial 18804 (matching) has 26-inch barrels (ramp front sight with silver-beaded blade, sling eye, rib with three express leafs – one fixed and two folding marked 100/200/300, mounts for rotary/dovetail rings which quickly detach via a screw, ejectors). Features include an automatic safety, blued barrels and a color case action. STOCK: The AA-grade walnut is dressed with wrap checkering (partially Mullered borders), drop points, extended lower tang to ebony grip cap and a toe line eye. No case or accessories. OPTIC: A Leupold Vari-X II 2-7x (polished blue, Duplex reticle, clear optics, good lens coatings) is mounted in Redfield rotary/dovetail rings). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 11.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 15.1 inches. CONDITION: The left bore shows minor frosting and the right is bright/shiny. Barrels are on face. Lever rests well right. Ejectors and triggers operate with enthusiasm. Finish over the barrels is approximately 75 percent. Colors over the action are likely refreshed and vivid.
