Dakota Model 97 Hunter .300 H&H Magnum. A special order rifle with serial GORDY018, it has a 24-inch medium sporter barrel (ramped front sight with brass-beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud, island rear sight with windage-adjustable notched express leaf). Features include a full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, cloverleaf tang and a recessed bolt release lever. No box or papers. STOCK: The premium synthetic stock has a textured finish, toe line sling swivel stud and an added Spartan Gunsmith Adapter for Spartan bipods and tripods. OPTIC: A Leupold VX-6HD3-18×50 CDS (for 168-grain Barnes TTSX-BT bullets) with illuminated TMOA reticle and magnetic lens caps is secured in Talley mounts. Electronics operate properly, optics are clear and the lens coatings unmarked. Surface finish is 98 percent. Please note that the optic will not clear the rear sight. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 9.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding. Trigger pull is crisp. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent.
