Dakota Model 76 .308 Winchester. Based on an early “Kurz” (short) action serialed K0138-2, this unattributed custom wears a 24-inch stainless steel tapering heavy barrel (.910-inch diameter at the brake seam, 25.5 inches with removable brake, unmark as to brand/caliber/twist). Features include full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, integral bolt release lever, cloverleaf tang and tuned trigger. A Farrell Picatinny rail with 20 MOA elevation is attached. Build history, round count and accuracy are unknown. No thread protector cap is present. STOCK: The McMillan stock has a flat-bottom beavertail forearm, bipod stud, five sling cups, textured gripping fields, deep pistol grip, adjustable comb and a McMillan logo recoil pad. The action beds on aluminum pillars and is glassed at the lug. CAPACITY: Five rounds (four plus one). The extractor “snaps over” single-fed rounds. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 12.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal and stock finishes are each at least 95 percent.
