Browning Superposed Lightning 12 special order two-barrel set, 1975, letter, cased, new condition

Browning Superposed Lightning 12-gauge two-barrel set. A special order from 1975 (factory letter included), serial 40600S75 (barrels matching and numbered “1” and “2”), it has seen fewer than 50 rounds since proof. Barrel 1 is 26.5 inches (fixed IC/M) and barrel 2 is 28 inches (fixed M/F). Both sets have matted vent ribs with single silver beads, 2.75-inch chambers and ejectors. Additional features include a mechanical safety/selector and single mechanical trigger. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with 28-inch barrels) is 7.2 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.25 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.5 inches, and cast off is approximately .25-inch. CONDITION: All aspects are essentially new with but trace indications of handling.
