The lot includes a signed, limited first edition (number 222 of 500) two-volume set of African Game Trails (Scribner’s, 1910) in a custom clamshell box, bound in partial pigskin in very good condition with partially-restored binding; a signed, limited first edition (number 144 of 260) copy of Outdoor Pastimes of an American Hunter (Scribner’s, 1905) bound in partial pigskin in excellent condition and Theodore Roosevelt, an Autobiography first edition (Macmillan, 1913) in very good condition. The gelatin silver print (circa 1918, 17×21 inches with frame 21.5×25.5 inches) copyright Baker Art Gallery was taken approximately six months before his passing and remains in excellent condition.
