Hunting the World’s Mountains Volumes I and II. A set from the Amwell Press High Country Heritage series as published in 1984, this is number 185/1000. An anthology, it includes a superb selection of works from great hunters and focuses on mostly sheep and goats in North America (Volume I) and then transitions to other mountain game in China, Africa and Europe (Volume II). Interiors are pristine and seemingly unread. Volume I has a very small crack at the top of the spine, with the exteriors being otherwise as issued. Leather bindings, marker ribbons and slip case, with the slip being good with some cracking and rubs at the corners due to the weight. The price is firm. $500 plus shipping.
