Horn of the Hunter by Robert Ruark, this copy from the personal library of Ruark’s famed professional hunter Harry Selby and was the late Mark Selby’s (son and Ruark’s godson) copy. Published by Doubleday in 1952/53 and dedicated to Selby whose signature is present inside (as “John H. Selby”), along with Mark’s “Mark Selby”. PROVENANCE: A letter from daughter Gail Selby-Wentink attesting that this was indeed her brother’s personal copy, originated from her father’s library and that the signatures are in her father’s and brother’s hand is included. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. The cover has lightened a bit and has some stains. Inside is very good, with no significant distresses.
