Horn of the Hunter by Robert Ruark, from the personal library of Ruark’s famed professional hunter Harry Selby. First printed in 1952/53, Ruark dedicated Horn of the Hunter to Selby. Published in 2013 as a limited edition of 1000 copies in celebration of the title’s 60th Anniversary, this copy is number 11 as well as Selby’s personal copy. Selby also penned the 17-page introduction and his signature appears twice (inside the front cover as well as on the limited edition certification page). PROVENANCE: A letter from daughter Gail Selby-Wentink attesting that this was indeed her father’s personal copy and that both signatures are in his hand is included. CONDITION: Both book and slip are in excellent condition.
