Custom Winchester pre-64 Model 70 .270 Winchester by Gil Van Horn. Serial 187821 has a 24-inch tapering sporter barrel (.630 muzzle diameter, banded sling swivel stud). Features include a rust blue finish, three-position safety and contoured bottom metal. STOCK: The AAA-grade claro walnut stock has exceptional end-to-end directional and crossing grain. Appointments include an ebony forend tip, 26 lines-per-inch borderless wrap checkering, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, sling swivel studs, Pachmayr recoil pad and an oil finish. Bedding is full-length glass and and the action locks down on three aluminum pillars. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 8.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.4 inches.
