Little America by Richard E. Byrd. Published by Putnam’s in 1930, this stated first edition bears the author’s ink inscription. What appears to be an original New York Times clipping of Byrd’s obituary dated 3/12/57 is also included. Byrd was a pioneer aviator and extensively explored the Antarctic. CONDITION: Overall good. Exterior is very good and absent discoloration. Interior hinges are beginning to crack but remain well attached. Minimal pencil markings and notes are present. $350 plus shipping.
