Features include a 22-inch barrel with banded and textured ramp front sight topped by a brass-wedged blade, scalloped island rear sight assembly with an adjustable folding blade, commercial action, two-position safety, checkered (two panels) bolt knob, lever floor plate release and a Jaeger trigger. Redfield mounts (1-inch low rings) are attached. STOCK: The sleek full stock is shaped from an AAA-grade claro blank with strong figure. Appointments include borderless 24 lines-per-inch wrap checkering, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, twin wood-capped crossing bolts, checkered steel grip cap, cartridge trap (secures four rounds) and timed screws. MARKINGS: “No. 174 Rifle Ranch – Prescott, Ariz.” and “Made to Order for Craig Fox Huber” appear on the barrel. “3090E” is stamped under the wood line. “Hooper Stock Sept. 73” is written in marker under the grip cap. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.6 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.4 inches. CONDITION: The bore is superb, strong and bright. The polished metal finish is well over 90 percent, the adjustment primarily for thinning and freckling on the bottom metal. Wood is 95 percent owing to a modest scattering of fine impressions.
