Remington Model 700 LH (left hand) custom .30-06. Serial C6429762 features a 24-inch custom barrel (medium contour by Gene Simillion, cryogenic treatment to relieve stress) with a removable muzzle brake by Jim Borden. Barrel length, including brake, is 26 inches. Simillion also added a three-position Model 70-type safety and Ken Miers fitted custom bottom metal with a detachable box magazine. Metal finish appears to be Teflon (consignor was unsure). Trigger has been properly tuned and Talley rings/bases hold the Leupold 3-9x scope customized by Premier Reticle. Finally, Simillion fitted and bedded the barreled action into a McMillan stock of the Lazzeroni pattern, it with negative checkering and a palm swell. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.4 pounds. Length-of-pull is 13.75 inches. OPTIC: As customized by Premier Reticle, the reticle has four heavy outer posts and a series of four small aiming points on thin crosswires running along each axis. CONDITION: Barrel has only seen about 150 rounds and bore remains in virtually new condition. Metal finish is about 98 percent, with only slight indications of handling and use. Stock surface finish is about 97 percent, with a few minor scratches along the butt. INCLUSIONS: A second detachable box magazine is included.
