Parker VHE .410 serial number 241221. Made on the OOO frame in 1938, it features 26-inch barrels choked skeet in & sheet out, double ivory beads on an unmarked solid rib, 3-inch chambers, ejectors, single select mechanical trigger, mechanical safety and a capped pistol grip. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.4 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.25 inches over an unmarked plate, drops are 1.5 and 2.0 inches, and cast off is approximately .25-inch. CONDITION: The barrels are on face and the bores mirror bright. The ejectors pop with authority and the top lever closes right. It is reasonable to assume that the barrel blue has been refreshed at some point, as it currently stands at about 95 percent. Colors appear to be original and show at about 25 percent with some browning and tarnish. Bluing over the guard and tang is about 50 percent. The butt appears to be refinished or at least have added oil/finish, the beavertail less so. Currently, the BT is about 90 percent overall, with a number of smaller impressions. The butt finish has thinned in spots, under which the wood remains in at least 90 percent condition with minimal impressions. It appears the butt plate and its spacer have been added. The price is firm and layaway is available. $27,500 plus shipping.
