Parker VHE 16 gauge on the “1” frame with 28-inch barrels and hanging tags. Serial number 230505 (matching) features ejectors, double beads and 2 3/4-inch chambers (tag indicates 2 9/16). Barrel chokes are F/F, but gauge IM/IM and pattern wonderfully and as if they were M/M (per knowledgable consignor). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.7 pounds. Length of pull is 13.7 inches over a new pad. Drops are approximately 1.5 and 2.5 inches. Cast (off) is slight, approximately .25 inch. CONDITION: Colors stand at about 60% overall, brighter on the action and fading over the latch, guard and tang. A modest hint of scaling appears on the sides. The guard has fully browned. The top lever, area near the safety and the length of the lower tang all show browning and some light pitting. Bottom screw heads are a bit roughed. Barrel blue is about 80%, with general field marks and some streaking. Checkering is very good.
