Originally a limited edition .348 Winchester (circa 1986), the consignor forwarded the rifle to McGowen for installation of their 22-inch .450 Alaskan barrel (.875-inch muzzle diameter, recessed crown, four-port Mag-Na-Port process, long throat). The Cerakote finish was added by Ultra Coatings (Kansas). After the rifle was completed, the consignor acquired upgraded (Deluxe) wood with checkering, to which he added a Danuser Counter Coil recoil reduction system and concealed it with an Action leather cover and pad. Additional features include a fiber optic front sight with hooded ramp and a Williams aperture rear sight. Serial is 00740PR1C7. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 9.8 pounds. Length-of-pull over the leather cover is 13.3 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent. Wood is approximately 98 percent.
