Marlin Model 1894 Cowboy Limited .45 Colt. Made circa 2005 as an edition of 100 rifles for the TALO buying group and supported by a factory letter as such, serial 98202399 has a 24-inch octagon barrel (full-length magazine tube, blade front sight with brass bead, adjustable rear sight). Features include a drilled and tapped receiver, crossbolt safety and straight stock. SPECIAL MARKINGS: The receiver is engraved “Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited”. Both forearm and butt are laser etched with cowboy scenes. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.35 inches. CONDITION: Likely unfired since factory proof, the bore is pristine. Metal finish is approximately 99 percent with trace indications of packaging rubs. Wood is 100 percent. INCLUSIONS: The original factory box with correct end label, factory letter, manual, Davidson’s info, plastic “Loaded” tab, hammer spur and lock are present.
