Kimber of Oregon left hand Model 82 Custom Classic .22 Hornet. An early example of a most desirable rifle, serial LHH95 features a 22-inch light sporter barrel, grooved receiver, disc safety, detachable magazine, ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch checkering panels, steel grip cap and a checkered steel butt plate with widow’s peak. The stock itself was fashioned from a blank of AA-grade English walnut with the barest hint of red and exceptionally bold figure. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.6 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: Possibly unfired since leaving the Clackamas factory in the 80s, the bore is pristine. Overall external condition exceeds 99 percent, with one tiny thin spot in the bluing (on top of the rail where it would likely be covered by a ring) and a small impression on the point of the comb from an errant bolt insertion. No box, papers rings or extra magazines are present. The price is firm and layaway is available. $4,250 plus shipping.
