Serial KH75 has a 22-inch barrel with an unusual (for Kimber) tapering crown, dovetailed receiver, straight bolt handle and a disc safety.The A-grade claro walnut stock is finished with panel checkering, checkered steel butt plate, steel grip cap and sling swivel studs. No box or papers are present. MARKINGS: The receiver has the usual factory markings (tack sharp under the original finish). Other than “17 IMP. HORNET” the barrel is unmarked both above and below the wood line. BACKGROUND: The consignor acquired this rifle some time ago. It was presented to him as a factory prototype without box or documentation. CAUTION: It is advisable to have the chamber cast prior to firing to determine exact chambering. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent with a few small scratches along the barrel.
