As imported by William Larkin Moore, serial GA13233 features file-cut double bead ribs with fixed chokes, 2.75-inch chambers, ejectors, inertia trigger, non-selective manual safety, beavertail forend and English stock with drop points. Both barrel sets are properly serialed and sequentially numbered. An extra set of springs is also included. SET 1: 26.75-inches long with fixed chokes (IC/M), this set wears a polished blue finish that remains in approximately 95 percent condition. SET 2: 29.5 inches long with fixed chokes (IM/F), this set has what appears to be a refreshed satin rust blued finish in nearly pristine condition. ENGRAVING: The action, top lever, guard/tang and forend furniture wear an intricate ribboned floral scroll highlighted by several dynamic sprays. Execution is outstanding, as expected. DIMENSIONS: With barrel set 1, weight is 6.5 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.3 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.25. Cast off is approximately .375-inch. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright. Barrel sets are properly on face. The action is approximately 97 percent with a suggest of light tarnish. The guard is nearly pristine. The beavertail has two minor impressions and a repair (spliced chip) at the right rear shoulder. The butt is at least 95 percent, with a small area of impressed checkering at the tip of the tang and what is likely an added pad. CASE: A leather takedown case with brass appointments, felt liner and label is included. The leather exterior is discolored, the interior nearly pristine.
