Specially made for Craig Boddington and known to be exceptionally accurate, serial number C10-0202 wears a 24-inch heavy sporter barrel with a recessed crown, banded front ramp topped with a beaded blade, banded sling swivel stud and an island express rear sight with three leafs (one fixed and two folders left green, each with a sighting line). Additional features include Leupold quick-release bases, full-length Mauser claw extractor and a Model 70-type three position wing safety. The stock is dressed with an ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch borderless panel checkering, ebony grip cap, scalloped cheek piece with shadow line and a Howell-type inletted swivel stud on the toe line. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with scope) is 11.2 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.65 inches. OPTIC: The Leupold VX-7 1.5-6x24mm scope features a Duplex reticle. CONDITION: The bore is superb in every respect. Metal finish is 98 percent, with only minor indications of use. The stock is at least 95 percent, with a modest scattering of minor field impressions and a small chip in the spacer and pad at the toe.
