Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt. Made in 1905, serial number 268117 has a 4.75-inch barrel. MARKINGS: Serial appears on frame, guard and grip. The barrel has the two-line address. What appears to be a small “5” appears on the left front side of the trigger guard. “5479” appears on the inside of the loading gate. CONDITION: Bore is fair, at best, with general roughness and soft rifling. All hammer clicks are positive and the cylinder locks up tight. Barrel blue has thinned and browned to about 15 percent and some small dings show on the bottom in front of the cylinder pin. Frame colors have faded to trace. Grip finish is about 30 percent and browning. The grip panels show uniform wear and three small notches appear at the base of the right grip.
