ENGRAVING: Felix Funken’s signature appears on both sides, although superfluous as the quality of the game scenes is unmistakable. The right panel is graced by a pair of setters with pheasants, the left with a fox presenting a duck to pups waiting by their den. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.0 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.15 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.15 inches, and cast off is approximately .25-inch. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright, barrels properly on face and the mechanics (ejectors, selector, trigger) operate as they should. The top lever rests right of center. Rust blue is approximately 98 percent, with just a hint of thinning near the muzzle on the lower barrel. Coin is approximately 99 percent and the trigger gold plate approximately 95 percent. Wood finish and integrity are each approximately 97 percent, with minor handling marks and impressions making an occasional appearance.
