Browning Superposed 12 gauge two barrel set. Serial 2676S72 (matching, barrels marked “1” and “2”) was made in Belgium in early 1972. Barrels are 28 inches long with fixed chokes (F/F and IC/M), single bead ribs, 3-inch chambers and ejectors. Additional features include a mechanical trigger, mechanical safety with selector and a long tang. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.8 pounds, length-of-pull is 14.6 inches over a White Line recoil pad, drops are 1.5 and 2.5 inches with cast off of .20 inch. CONDITION: Bores are bright and mechanics flawless. Both barrel sets are on face and the top lever closes far to the right. Barrel set finishes each stand at about 98 percent with little evidence of use. Forend on set one is 98 percent and the forend on set two is about 95 percent due to a scattering of small field impressions. The action finish is about 85 percent, mostly due to thinning on bottom and tang. The butt stock is about 80 percent, with numerous impressions and scratches plus three gouges.
