AyA Model 53 12 gauge with full-coverage bouquet & scroll engraving over detachable seven-pin sidelocks. Serial 140738 was made in 1961. Both barrel sets are original and 28 inches long. Chokes are IC/IM and M/F (per choke gauge) and chambers are 2.75 inches long. Features include ejectors, articulated front trigger, automatic safety, side clips, bushed strikers, game ribs and a checkered butt. Seldom used, both barrels remain fully on face and ring like chimes blowing in an evening breeze. Full coverage bouquet and scroll graces the action, trigger guard, tangs, opening lever, forearm furniture and the grip cap screw. Additional accents include gold line cocking indicators and gold numbers on the  ribs. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.0 pounds, length-of-pull is 14.75-inches, drops are 1.6 inches and 2.25 inches, and cast off is approximately .375 inch. CONDITION: Overall metal finish remains about 98% (rust blue on barrels, guard, lever and forend furniture, with nickel over the receiver). Wood retains 98% of the original hand-rubbed oil finish and has only slight evidence of field use. The opening lever camps well to the right.
