Horn of the Hunter by Robert Ruark, this copy from the personal library of Ruark’s famed professional hunter Harry Selby and was Miki Selby’s (wife) copy. Published by Doubleday in 1952/53 and dedicated to Selby whose hand signature is present inside (as both “John H. Selby” and “Harry Selby”), as is Miki’s “M. E. Selby”. PROVENANCE: A letter from daughter Gail Selby-Wentink attesting that the signatures originate from her father’s and mother’s hand is included. CONDITION: Overall fair. The cover is faded, frayed at some corners and loosening. Inside is good to very good, with no significant distresses. This is copy H-1 of three similar.
